I've been swamped with work this past month, the company I work for is pushing for release. Still, I've managed to do a lot of internals work for Outnumbered and Gremlin, the framework Outnumbered is built on. The graphics engine has undergone a major restructuring, to provide for a saner interface for post-processing effect and shader control, and it's been moved from Outnumbered to Gremlin. The 2D rendering code has been streamlined, and what 3D rendering code was originally mixed in there has been moved to a separate renderer. Also, the groundwork for moving from sprites to 3D graphics, as originally intended, has been done.
The next release is not far off, now - once graphics engine functionality has been verified to work and UI elements have been properly implemented, I'll do an intermediary release. The release after that will add menu and intro code (Ville aka. Galaksinvartija has done some amazing graphics work on that front). :)
Due to the free-time nature of the project, I can't provide exact release dates. All I can say for now is, the project is progressing. Releases will come. :)
